Outward beauty is nothing without inner beauty, and when both blend we could consider ourselves healthy. A balanced diet is a must for a gratifying life and fruits and vegetables should be an important element in it. When juice and smoothie bars begin to spread all around the world, it's time for learning their tastiest recipes for preparing at home.

Five pieces of fruit and vegetables should be eaten a day, as experts recommend. With the stress of our ordinary lifes and frequently eating outside it's not that easy to keep a healthy way of living. Juices and smoothies (juice with the flesh of the fruit) helps us in this because they turn vegetables in fruits into an easy carrying package, ready to be consumed everywhere. On the other hand, they can be an alternative for the weekend, when we tend to exercise more and eat better.

Here are three suggestions you might enjoy:

1) Apple and kiwi: Mix one Golden Apple and 2 kiwis, best quite mature. For the best result, the flavour of kiwi must prevail over apple's.

2) Melon,lime, and menthe: Mix two big slices of melon with the juice of one lime and blend. Then add some menthe leaves and let it soak for half a day.

3) Peach and mango: Mix half mango and one peach and squeeze.
