Crash Diet Only In Your Player: A Vindication Of The Rights Of Woman To Feel Comfortable In Her Own Skin

Today, 8 Th March is the day of Working Woman, a day for fighting so that the equality in the laws becomes truly applicable. In a society where woman it's still judge by her beauty and her reproductive skills, the biggest change to make is the change of mentality so that men also enjoy the posibilities they are been set aside of because of the discrimination. Under pressure because of the schemes of show business industries, it's time to say stop.

Eighteenth century was time of French Revolution and the beginning of modern times. In the cahiers du doleances women complained they were not being considered but for the sake of the Revolution, they accepted the new Constitution because it was an advancement for all, even if it still left women in the shadow.

In Great Britain, there were women like Mary Wollstenecraft, who in A Vindication Of The Rights Of Woman wrote: "It is time to effect a revolution in a female matters-time to restore to them their lost dignity- and make them, as a part of the human species, labour by reforming themselves to reform the world". She suggested that is not that women haven't born to be intelligent but that if they are not educated their intelligence won't be developed and will keep being a slave to men."My own sex, I hope, will excuse me, if I treat them like rational creatures, instead of flattering their fascinating graces, and viewing them as if they were in a state of perpetual childhood, unable to stand alone". And she adds:"Some women govern their husbands without degrading themselves, because intellect will always govern".

Still, until Nineteeth century weren't the first changes and in Spain it was not until 80's of Twentieth Century when women could get divorced or even have an abortion.

There are sad days when too many women are killed because they refuse to keep on living with someone who mistreat them. Decades ago, whatever happened inside the marriage should be found a solution inside of it. Still, a woman who had a lover could go to prison; on the contrary, nothing happened to a man unless it was too noticeable. In the case of Spain, the book that was used in the schools for educating women was one of the Fifteen Century called La perfecta casada (The Perfect Housewife), written by a monk, Fray Luis de León, which stated things like women are not meant to go outside because their feet are too small.

Spain, due of having lived in a dictatorship for almost forty years is still being delayed but it has progressed in a very fast way. Homosexual people can get married, divorces are faster, women can have an abortion under some circumstances, fathers can ask for permission for taking care of their babies, there are more women at universities and at responsibility positions, just to mention a few.

However, there is still hard work to be done and the biggest change needs to be done in institutions and mentalities. Everything is organized considering that there would be a housewife that could attend the administrative tasks, women are paid less considering their salary is just supportive to their husbands, a woman that decides not to get married is still seen in a despective way, too many people still marrying in a religious way so that it looks good, the possibility of renting a flat is easier for couples, and so on.

One thing that has a high influence in our lifes is publicity,as it shows the desirable kind of living. It's regrettable that when referring to toys they insist on showing girls as the perfect mothers and housewifes and boys, as fighters, because that model sets in their minds since they are very little, giving chance to discrimination and turned them into discrimminators. It's parents task to educate well their children, but goverments should also take part in offering a good education and monitoring media.

Unfortunately, women's appearance still too important in our society. It's sad to hear to some of the greatest actress of Hollywood that once they are over 30 it's difficult to find a role in a movie and they need surgery to look younger and be able to keep on working. On the contrary, there are no problems of matching a 25 year old girl with an actor of 60. I'm not saying that it is unnecesary to look after one's appearance, but that it shouldn't be something obsessive.

The rumour has it that in the 80's models used cocaine to keep fit, as it satiates artificially hunger, and those models actually looked as fit young women. Late 90's and new decade brang the new model of beauty, by experts considered more open to all beauty models, but in fact, more irreal and discriminating. When anyone has to starve to have some kind of look, there is a problem after it and a disease to name it, and you are an irresponsible person and a crimminal when you are promoting that for the sake of your business.

Being honest, must confess I do not support big sizes either, I support being healthy, whatever your constitutional size is; it's as unhealthy having a 34 when you should have a 38 than having a 48 when you should have a 42. And I just wonder that if 38 it's the most common size why 44 is the first to get out of stock.

When vacations come near we start a kind of frenzy trying to look like a cover girl when most of the year we have done little for our body, forgetting miracles do not exist. That's the time for crash diets, that risk our health. Stars have many gurus with many strange diets but they do not confess when they landed in the hospital because of them. Be wise, before dieting consult your doctor so that finds the diet that suits you best because of your life style and tastes. And the only truth is that is you want to keep your weight you shouldn't eat much and work out frequently, what doesn't mean that from time to time you can't taste your little pleasures.

To cut a long story short, we should feel fine in our skins, remarking the best of them without getting obsessed about unreachable goals; you won't look like Petra Nemcova unless you are Petra Nemcova, but you can look like a better version if yourself if you really mean it, just use the cosmetic treatments that suit you best and that do not turn your life too complicated to follow them. Moreover, beauty it's a mingle of looks and insides and you have to work both as a whole, otherwise you'll be somebody incomplete.

The most important is that you shouldn't leave anyone decide how you should be like, it's your life and you are the only person who can tell what's convenient for you in any place of your life. That includes your sexual life: it's also time for stop considering women as whores just because they choose to have an active sex life and demand to be fulfilled their needs, and it's time that men take responsability in methods of birth control.

Sex, Valentino& Rock'N'Roll

The designer of the jet set, Valentino, launches a new version of his perfume Rock'N'Rose, Rock'N'Rose Couture, to celebrate his 45 Th Anniversary in fashion universe. The must in the disco nights of Studio 54 in New York, closes the decade grabbing an electric guitar. Welcome to the jungle, honey.

Valentino is synonym to elegance. Related to Bianca Jagger in the 70's and to Kelly Le Brook (Woman In Red) and Nick Rhodes (Duran Duran) stylesque in the 80's, in the 90's he turned more aggresive, with Gisele Bundchen.
In perfumes, he maintains his style. Romance, a classic from the 90's starred by model Tanga, is the predecessor of Rock'N'Rose, with a light but charming essence that fits as well as in the morning as in the night. If in the previous one the message was a couple in love, in this we find a teenage beauty who reminds Mena Suvari in American Beauty, ready to seduce no matter what. Music has always influenced fashion and viceversa, here the designer exchanges the gun for rock, a detail the rehabited Axl would be proud of.
Marylin Monroe wore only Chanel N.5 as dressgown; lolita would wear Rock'N'Rose.

Size Do Matter

Sometimes it turns difficult to fulfill the needs of modern woman and fit them in a little bag. That's where Bourjois seemed to look, when creating Mini Bourjois collection, a collection of make up products they have updated with the launch of their new classic Gloss Menthol.

One of the oldest make up brands, created in the mid of nineteeth century, Bourjois has never stopped innovating. Its Moschino stilesque humour is one of their trademarks of the last decades, as well as their practical round boxes.
In a time when mobile phones have became a must, they have glosses to hang on them, as a fashionable accesory, Gloss Effet 3 D Mobile, which can be found in a range of 8 colours, between rose, framboise, brun, and beige.
Nail polish offers 5 ranges, classified by the spirit of 5 cities (Barcelona, New York, London, Paris, and Miami) and eye shadows come in solo, so they can be combined in a palet of two or of four, attending your needs and your tastes, and there are 28 to choose.
As it is common, the brand adjust to every country and it's not unusual to find different products in each of them. At least in Spain, you can also find mini mascara and mini lipsticks.

Make Up Collection Spring Summer: Clarins

Despite of the several threats, 80's do not seem to go unfashionable, as we find them in some collections for this season. Clarins brings back the spirit of Dior, when they were the only ones to dare with colourful eye shadows, with a collection called Colour Fizz.

Take a look at the videos of Wham! and Culture Club and you'll realize the easy they are to recreate with this collection, that suggests freshness and life.
The main novelty are the eye shadows Mono Couleur, in 14 tones very surpresive and intense, 4 of them in limited edition. On the other hand, there are the new colourings for liners, Cooper for Crayon Yeaux and Chocolat for Eye Liner. As you can see, when eyes are remarked, lips keep in a soft colour.

Grandmas Didn't HaveTired Feet

So focused on technology, most of times we forget about classic remedies that can work as well as the modern ones. In the combination of both it's where the balance gets right. Sundays are usually days for enjoying with family, going on a trip and that gives as a result tired feet. Used to harder life than ours, our grandmas had a remedy for that.

Lavender and mint are the best remedies for tired feet, but when we do not have them on hand, try bicarbonate and vinegar. Soap your feet in warm water and add bicarbonate and some vinegar. After a few minutes, all your tiredness will have gone.
